This Privacy Policy explains how RyzenMail ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile and/or web applications (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
Quick Summary
What we collect
- Device & app identifiers (e.g., device ID, advertising ID if available, app instance ID).
- Push token for notifications (e.g., FCM token).
- Temporary email content you receive through RyzenMail inboxes (headers, sender, subject and body).
- Diagnostics (basic logs and crash data only if enabled on your device).
Why we collect it
- Account management App functionality
- Delivering inbox updates & push notifications.
- Operating time‑limited mailboxes and preventing abuse.
- Security, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
Data We Process
Identifiers
- Device or other IDs: a hashed device identifier and/or app instance ID used to manage sessions and premium status.
- Push token (FCM): to send inbox and system notifications to your device.
Temporary Email Content
RyzenMail provides disposable mailboxes. Messages routed to these mailboxes are processed and stored for a limited time to deliver the Service (viewing, notifications, spam filtering, and abuse prevention).
Diagnostics
On supported platforms, we may process non‑personal crash and performance data to improve stability. We do not build profiles from diagnostics.
How We Use Data
- Provide core functionality, including mailbox creation, receiving mail, and notifications.
- Authenticate sessions and manage premium features.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to spam, abuse, and security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
- Performance of a contract – to provide the Service you request.
- Legitimate interests – to keep the Service secure and reliable.
- Consent – where required (e.g., notifications on some platforms).
Ads & Third‑Party SDKs
RyzenMail may display ads using Google AdMob. Depending on your region and settings, AdMob may receive device identifiers and limited analytics to serve and measure ads. We do not serve interest‑based ads to children and we do not knowingly direct the Service to children.
- You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.
- We request non‑personalized ads where required by law or platform policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers / processors (e.g., cloud hosting, content delivery, push notifications, advertising network) under contracts that limit their use of data to our instructions.
- Legal and safety – if required by applicable law, lawful requests, or to protect users, our Service, or others.
Retention
- Temporary emails (non‑premium): retained for up to 12 hours by default, then permanently deleted.
- Temporary emails (premium): retained for up to 30 days unless you delete earlier.
- Identifiers & push tokens: retained while your account/app instance is active and for a short period thereafter for security and auditing.
- Diagnostics: kept for the minimum period necessary to analyze and resolve stability issues.
International Transfers
We may process and store data on servers located in multiple countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) for cross‑border transfers.
Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all communications.
- Restricted access, least‑privilege controls, and audit logging.
- Automated deletion for expired temporary mailboxes.
Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
- Delete data: remove mailboxes or messages in‑app, or request account deletion to revoke identifiers and push tokens.
- Notifications: disable push notifications in system settings.
- Ads: limit ad tracking in device settings; where supported, choose non‑personalized ads.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. We currently do not respond to DNT signals, but you can use the controls described above to manage privacy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted in the app or on our website with an updated “Effective date.” If changes are material, we will provide additional notice.
